Title: Any fix for the Windows 7/NVidia problem?
Post by: Sivvi on December 09, 2010, 07:13:35 PM
I seem to be having the same Windows 7 and/or NVidia problem as mentioned in the other thread.

While playing the tutorial, the mouse freezes right after zooming the camera. The sound continues and the narrator speaks through the entire next paragraph but no unit appears to select.

I've got a Gateway laptop running a 2.53 GHZ p8700 Intel Core 2 Duo processor, NVidia GeForce GTX 260M, with 4GB of RAM. I've got Windows 7 64-bit. I have the most recent drivers and updates for all my hardware and software.

The one thing that seems exactly the same is that I also bought the game from Impulse. I've waited a few days for a reply from their tech support, but they don't seem to aknowledge that there's even a problem.

Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated :)

what version of the game are you running?  It should say on the title screen in the top left corner.

Following the steps from the other thread, I also tried downloading the demo (v1.58). The problem does not occur in the demo - it runs perfectly.
