maybe a richtor scale for the earthquake thing so you could quantitatively say how earthquake resistant a structure is...  like, enter a number, press the button, and presto, an earthquake of specified magnatude and specific duration.  that'd be cool.

I wanna natural disasters and non natural disasters in the game (fload, maraton runners,  tornados, "mech walkers"), the design of curve high-ways and the implementation of drawbridge.

What about snow load? Let it snow and we get a measurable, increasing snow load...
(3m high wet snow at almost a ton per square meter is nothing that can be ignored :)
