Post by: Pigbuster on October 16, 2004, 01:26:14 AM
SKY CART
Parts: Long square attached to a small frictionless square above.
Knowledge: Rope editor, object editor
Defenition:
Put the slippery square in a long groove so the sky cart can move along.

ELEVATOR
Parts: Rectangle as long as you want, anchor
Knowledge: Pistons, objects
Defenition:
Attach pull pistons (5) from the anchor to the tops of the rectangle. Set RED to the height you want, GREEN to the time it will take, BLUE to 0.

Oh, and what do half-pull pistons do exactly?

ACK!!!! WHAT??? I MEANT TO POST THIS IN THE TUTORIALS THREAD.... DANG IT! Delete this thread please...

Half push and pull pistons are used to spin wheels.
If you had an anchor set above a wheel you would set pistons 5,6,7,8 in a clockwise direction around the wheel starting at 12 o'clock.

spinning wheels are a very advance build and take some trial and error to master. good luck

There is just one kind of piston. The only difference is the start position: 0, 0.25, 0.5 or 0.75.

@Edmund: You just said that they must spin clockwise. And I didn't find them hard at all?
