Title: Lights slow it down
Post by: Jonathan_NL on October 30, 2004, 09:57:59 PM
I have no trouble with all reasonable lights on my laptop, so is your computer fast enough? Specs?

(then every level would run sloooooow, but anyway)

If I make or load a level in editor with lights in it, the game just starts to run all slow. It never happened before either. It also happens in VS. mode and single player. :(

That doesn't really help because even if I put a light with a 1 intensity, it starts to run slow. And no, there are no objects or anything else when I did this

Lights with very high intensity slow it down a lot. Objects slow it down too, so make sure there aren't too many, in particular circles and huge ropes.

yeah yeah yeah my computer is fast enough, and when I first tried out the lights they worked fine. Then when I tried them a few days later it started running like this. oh yeah my comp is 1.8 gigahertz :)
