Title: Help with the Elevator type piston
Post by: mr.gibblet on August 23, 2005, 10:58:49 PM
For some reason i made a piston that moves a block up and down and when i rub against the wall i stay there and the elevator moves to the side and then goes haywire.

Im sorry... i forgot to save the levels progress and then i loaded backup.lvl and then i loaded the wrong level and accadently saved the wrong level as backup...

So now im stuck here Mad without all my hard work.

But still why did the elevator do that?

Without any details I can't give an answer, but it's probably the way you set it up.

I'm not exactly sure if I understood this, but you could try setting the friction of the walls next to the elevator to 0... Setting the friction of the elevator parts to 0 might work too.
