I've put together a few levels.  Nothing fancy, but I hope they're quite challenging with regards to money.

All feedback is appreciated.

New Levels / Pontifex levels site
February 10, 2002, 10:34:01 PM
Hi All,

I've put together an auto-updated levels directory.

As it doesn't require any maintainence it should be updated very frequently.  If you've got any levels you want added, please email them to:

pmaddox@ai-technologies.co.uk

The website is:

General Discussion / Chronic Logic Lives
February 11, 2002, 10:47:30 PM
Hi Josiah,

From my point of view, offering files in some kind of repository would be really good.  That way it's easy to hold files in one place that everyone can have access to.  Perhaps it could be done as anonymous FTP or some way that users can easily 'post' their levels automatically.  I've got a simple CGI script on my website atm generating a levels directory for files I've FTPd, but there's no way to post levels automatically.

Definitely a new competition would be great though!

General Discussion / I'm really disappointed.

I think CL did promise a lot for buying Pontifex.  ฤ is a reasonable price, even with the lack of updates to the website though.

What's more annoying is that if CL weren't intending to update it though, it's basically false advertising to sell Pontifex mentioning their fantastic member's area.

A couple of people seem to have a lot of sympathy for CL for not updating the website.  It was their choice to write the software, and offer the service and product they do.  Any company, regardless of the size, has a responsability to live up to their marketing pitch.
