Can you tell me if this version is supposed to have the same number of files as the old version?  (I know one of the improvements was that it came many more levels.)

Do you mean on the title screen?  Because as I said, it's still 1.37 there.  Or is there somewhere else where it should show 1.3.9.1 ?

Okay... http://www.direct2drive.com/8047/product/Buy-Bridge-Construction-Set-Download now indicates the correct version number, and the download is definitely different from the one I made previously: bcs.exe is 7,782,400 bytes instead of 6,242,304 bytes, and there's 332 total files in 14 folders instead of 331.

But the version number on the title screen is still 1.37, and the game directory still only contains patch_v_1_37.txt .  Is this really the new version?

What about the Direct2Drive version?  It's been a few months now and they're still not offering the new patch at Direct2Drive.com .  Is there some other way of obtaining it?

General Discussion / Is this ever going on sale?
October 23, 2009, 05:10:59 PM
Triptych is a charming game, but there's just no way I can justify paying fifteen bucks for what amounts to another Tetris clone.

If this game had been offered on Steam or Direct2Drive like some of Chronic Logic's other games, it would have surely gone on sale for $5 or less at some point by now, and I would have bought it.

Isn't it about time this went on sale?  Or even became freeware?  Have that many people dropped fifteen dollars on this game over the last five years!?
