Zatikon Support / Can't Log In

I can't log in to Zatikon for a couple days now. It tries for about 15 seconds then says, "Unable to reach the server:java net SocketException: Software has caused connection to abort: recv failed"

I've try to reinstall and get the same message. Help please.

Can we unsticky this old debate. If we are not addressing it this gets in the way. Lets have a standard time and options for extending that both players can agree on. I enjoy this over chess, just because it's on a chess grid does not mean we need to make it more like chess. Simplify a little more or make it easier to understand all the effects.

If there is an interest in improving this game the interface needs to be improved. I'd like to see players icons and chat at the same time. Please take a look at the "Star Chamber" interface. It's a good example of a user friendly interface. I also would like the option of make the opening screen bigger. If anyone has any other ideas I'm sure Zatikon would like the feedback.

I was a regular a while ago but could not get enough Multi Player games going. Also people wouldn't play certain ways for fun because they were protecting their rating. Single player games are boring and limited at a certain level because only certain Armies can win. Why can't I choose the level I want to play at. The games interface is not user friendly. I've been back for 2 days now and still can't figure some things out. I notice my Archangel is missing. I want to save hundreds of different armies but can only save a small amount. Also my first game back was against an asshole of a vet. I almost didn't want to come back after that jerk experience.

OK this is a great game. Get a more user friendly Interface and give me more option to play with. I only play this and Star Chamber and they both struggle one because Sony got their ugly claws on it and this game which need to be developed further.

Love the game keep up the effort in making it better.

Captains
In single player a Dragon and Shaman came in range killing my General. Next turn I attacked with 3 captain all in range. They didn't trigger each other when attacking the dragon or the shaman. These 2 units may have been inorganic I didn't check.

Yes I agree that way a person could play something else besides the few overpowered combos that need tweaking.

Diploma was updated??? How so. Still has the same powers as far as I can see. Is there some place where there is a list of all the update changes?

The overpowered units make the game less playable and affect it way more than the under powered units. I don't know how you see it the other way.

Is anyone else disappointed that there wasn't more tweaking of units? Isn't diplomat and conjurer two obvious units in need of tweaking? I'm glad the changeling range was reduced. Add on any changes you have seen or things you thought should have been changed.

Black Smith is only for only certain classes not allowed with wizards and a few others.

Black smith cost 350

actions 2
movement 1 cost 1
forge weapons for units range 1 cost 2
must reset shop after each forge cost 1


Give units new weapons of different ability. Kind of similar to alchemist.

Curved Bow - increase range and power by 1 for range units
Mace - Original power but increase action by 1
Trident - increase range and power by 1 for melee units
War Hammer - Increase power by 3 reduce action by 1

Diplomat, Conjurer, Hydra-Sergant-Mourner combo, Angel with tons of scouts, Changeling. In playing with people regularly these are the ones we usually say are banned before we start.

Others I find that ruin my fun are Mimics and Sycophants.

Fixes:
- you should only be allowed a max of 4 of any one unit.
- Sergent should be usable with Hydra
- reduce shape shifters range
- increase sycophants cost to 100
