I recently had to reformat and reinstall, and I can't get many programs to work, including ICQ. For the short period with which this thing actually functioned, I discovered that I was not able to salvage my contact list, and thus I need to re-add everyone.
Now the problem here is: My authorization requests and/or authorization grants don't seem to be reaching people. I'm wondering if anyone else as this problem. It could be because I'm running an old version (99a, to be exact)
However, I cannot download the latest version because icq.com is either not functioning, or my computer is behind some really bizzare firewall. Any suggestions would be welcome. (If it isn't too much trouble, try out the download links at icq.com and tell me if they work)
