I think you could go to http://www.chroniclogic.com/pontifex2/download.html" target="_blank">http://www.chroniclogic.com/pontifex2/download.html and click on 'Lookup username'.

BCS General / What'd the patch do?
October 25, 2002, 03:35:53 PM
Looks like they forgot to include the tutorial levels or mistyped something in the tutorial scripts...

BCS General / need/give Help on levels
October 20, 2002, 02:55:06 PM
Help on Hard 6 is available http://www.bridgebuilder-game.com/cgi-bin/ib3/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=11;t=16" target="_blank">here.

Extra 3 seems to be broken (the second car is facing the wrong way). I've informed CL.

BCS General / Pontifex Records Website Updated
October 20, 2002, 01:00:13 AM
Hmm... Any ideas how I could implement that technically?
We could always 'migrate' the records threads to this forum, but it lacks a pfx2 records sub-forum and on the whole, it's kinda broken ATM IMO http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

You ordered part 1 and expected part 2? How come? http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
Buying Pontifex I doesn't give you Pontifex II for free, it just lets you get it cheaper.

I guess it's more like you have to allow cookies to be set or something http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
It works for me, and it doesn't seem to have changed...

BCS General / Problems & Questions?
October 03, 2002, 04:29:01 PM
I didn't really want to criticise your post's content, it just didn't seem right to me when you called mIRC 'the' client...
Of course, mIRC can be recommended for IRC beginners as 'the' client. Non-beginners know everything themselves http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

P.S. I use Trillian. Of course, it has a lot less IRC features, but they suffice for me, and I think Trillian is the cutest http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

BCS General / Cables are not the same as Pontifex 1
September 30, 2002, 04:37:57 PM
I think that's because the cables are pretty heavy in pfx2. The material weights/strengths might still need some tweaking...

BCS General / Grey ground
September 29, 2002, 10:17:17 PM
The ground should indeed be green in the 'pre-order release'...
I also remember seeing all the models being just plain grey instead of textured (not the ground tho'), it happened in one of the betas when I alt-tabbed out and back into the game, but I think it's fixed now...
I assume you do have a nice video card with the newest OpenGL-supporting drivers?

BCS General / Medium level 3 bug?
September 27, 2002, 11:46:59 AM
...The sound of the draw bridge shutting never stops and the level never completes so I can't progress...

This has already been reported to CL and they'll hopefully fix it in the next version.

I miss the sounds of destruction... I also miss the text at the beginning of each level tell you what to do. And for a game which is now selling for ฮ, 15 levels seems to be not many... I feel a little like I've bought an engine with some example levels rather than a game.)

That's it exactly - the game is not yet 100% complete, the final version will have more levels, more sounds, a config screen, etc. - you didn't really think development is over now, did you? http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Minor thing.. It would be nice, when running in window mode, to allow the mouse out of the pontifex window.

This annoys many other people, too, but I think this is necessary to allow simple mouse scrolling... could be made an option tho'...
