They are working on a new patch, which probably has some of that implemented (like 'setup' in settings, taken from Gish). Other things may be hard to do with SDL (like app menu, I think).

The scroll wheel now just moves the cam closer and farther away. If you hold down shift, it only moves away. Wouldn't assigning it to the grid's Z be more useful?

Version 1.17 includes some interface changes, and changes to the demo version. Added OSX version.
