Hi Michael.

Make sure you those latest drivers include OpenGL drivers for your video card, also try turning the sound off with the hardware configuration, and see if it still crashes.

BCS General / Joint's not working?
September 28, 2002, 09:28:49 AM
Rob,

That system should be plenty to run Pontifex II.  Make sure you have up to date OpenGL drivers.  Another user posted that  the game speed improved greatly by turning "Use fast linear-mipmap-linear filtering" on, you might want to check your card for similar options.  Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks,

Josiah

Hey Rob,

The Linux version will be released very soon after the full windows version, but you will have to wait for the full version, there will not be a pre-order Linux release http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

Thanks,

woody, the Mac OSX version will be released after the Windows and Linux version.  This will be a few days to a few weeks after the 17th.

Klei we suggest you check the requirments, and try Pontifex on your computer before pre-ordering Pontifex II, or you can wait for the demo of Pontifex II and try it.  If the original Pontifex works on your computer you should not have any problems with Pontifex II.

Gray, we will put up some more screen shots probably next week.

Hope this takes care of everyones questions.

Josiah
