We are thinking of a way that we can have people submit their high scores and keep a master list, our highscore list is actually a little old, I will update it today.

Unfortunately, it takes paypal a couple days to process the order, so as soon as the money is received by swreg, you'll get your keycode.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you want to check out some of Chronic Logic's high scores for Triptych, check out http://www.chroniclogic.com/highscore.html" target='_blank'>http://www.chroniclogic.com/highscore.html.  Remember, we've been playing it for awhile, so don't get discouraged http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>.

You can play through level 3 in the demo version, but can't play any of level 4.

Dogon1013 has created a very nice set of 7 new Pontifex levels.   Everyone should check them out, they are very well done.

Miscellaneous / Triptych Forum?
June 12, 2002, 08:12:40 PM
A Triptych forum would be good, but remember only registered Pontifex members can enter this forum.  It would be nice to have a forum that everyone who plays Triptych could talk on.  Right now the guy who set up all the forums and members stuff is out of the country, but I will see what I can do.

Make sure you have OpenGL drivers, try turning the sound off, and make sure you are not running debug direct x drivers.

Problems / Crashes while testing
August 06, 2002, 08:57:44 PM
Try turning off your sound in the hardware configuration.  It could be a sound related problem, if that does not make any difference try updating your OpenGL drivers if you have not already.

I am sorry you feel that way.  We offered all Pontifex members Pontifex II for ű.95 which is a very fair price.  Members will still have 2 weeks after it is released to buy Pontifex II for พ.95 which is half the normal price.  Pontifex offered contests and map packs as well as a community for the game.  Sorry that is not enough for you.

Agreed, and we do appreciate you purchasing Pontifex.  We would like to update Pontifex as well, or the other bridge building game, and have been thinking about ways to do it.  If it was easy we would have already do it.  I think the community here took a very hard hit when the web page and forum went down for about a month or two.  I was not working here then, but I don't believe that should have happened.  Since then the community has been a lot smaller, with very little activity.  The contest that we ran received very few entries, that is why we have not ran another recently.  Plus Gray has been doing a great job running them http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> and I was glad to see the number of people who entered in his last contest, keep up the good work Gray http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
As for the source code, the main problem is that the source code is not just the Pontifex source code but the source code for the physics engine which is the driving force behind Pontifex, the game formally called Bridge Builder and Triptych.  We hope to make games in the future that use the same physics engine, and that is the main reason we dont want to release any source code.
