I just downloaded and played through these, they are awesome :)

Abyss was actually my least favorite between all of them.. possibly because I lost against no1...
But the underwater level was very cool, no idea why your friend doesn't like it :P

I couldn't figure out how to win Gishboard, but major props on the lights and effects.

Gish Editor / Re: How to make platforms move on their own?

Hey,

To make a moving platform you will want to use an object #2 as the platform, and a #8 as an anchor point in the f3 object menu.
Once you place those you will attach the platform to the anchor using #5 push pistons in the f4 rope menu.
To make a platform move when you first get on it you want to use #16 and have the anchor react to it.

A few other things...
Make the mass of the platform large. From my experience no matter what you do gish's mass will affect the movement of the platform. I.e. if Gish is sitting on the right side of the platform the platform will lean to that side. A higher mass cuts that affect down.

Up and down platforms seem to work best, I haven't figured out horizontal ones, does any1 know how to do that?

Hope that helps.

Pictures would be useful perhaps detailed pictures for the construction of the first vehicle, and then just a picture of the finished vehicle, and maybe what it looks like in the object editor.

I thought so too, decided to upload a video to youtube if anyone wants to see a step-by-step on how to make a vehicle. The one I made is meant to be some sort of Monster Truck, but looks more like a grocery store big-rig.
I tried not to go over 10 minutes, so you definitely have to be somewhat familiar with the editor to follow along.
