Just dowloaded pack, but one quick question. How hard do you think they are? Harder than originals, harder that map pack 1?

New Levels / My MapPack
October 19, 2001, 04:00:17 AM
Hey, the levels look great! Keep up the good work! One thing though, you might want to add a message at the end of the levels to "Reward" users who finish it. In case you don't already know, you just write the message as a text file, and save it under the name dwn.txt, where dwn would be the name of your map pack. Once again, great job. http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Like Pontifex and Chronic Logic, this website and the logo are unassuming, that is, until you delve deeper and realize what precious treasure they harbor!

Mmmmmmmm....... precious treasure.

How do you hat some one? This sounds interesting to me. I've heard of pants-ing some one, but hat? I must do more research on this under-studied topic. http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Miscellaneous / I wan't a shirt!
October 15, 2001, 09:04:35 PM
The site is cafeprint.com if you are interested. However, they charge about 12.99 to make each shirt, which would seem to be a bit expensive. I'm sure there is some other place where screen printing services are offered for a better price. My main point was just that I want a shirt.

Miscellaneous / I wan't a shirt!

A Pontifex T-shirt would be really cool so I could show my friends my lack of a life besides Pontifex (kidding. About the life, not the shirt). My friend made really stupid shirts about something (can't remember what.) at a site that charges a base price for an item that you design, and then you can sell it for whatever you wan't. i'll try to get the adress on monday when i see him.

This is the beta version of Ikonboard, could have something to do with it. I'm amazed that I could be a member of a message board for over 101 years now. Especially since I'm not even a fifth that old.

Miscellaneous / CL, Would custom titles be possible?
October 23, 2001, 11:03:59 PM
How about some suggestions? Here are mine:
0 posts - neophyte (it means beginner)
25 - Recruit
50 - Fellow
75 - Autodidact (well knowledged self taught person)
100 - Prodigy
150 - Mastermind
200 - Pontifex Minumus
300 - Pontifex
Pontifex Maximus would be reserved for winners of contests.<p>These are just my ideas and not very good ones at that, please reply with your lists or suggestions for changing the number of posts per rank.

Miscellaneous / CL, Would custom titles be possible?

I know you are giving out the title of pontifex maximus for the winner of the contest, but could you also change the titles people get by posting a certain number of posts? The Bridge Builder Homepage has titles like BBBeginer an so on. Pontifex related titles would be a fun addition to a great Ikonboard.

Has anybody tried to redo the paint sceme of the train? A program like nascar had that allowed one to do this easily would be kind of fun and simple to make.

New Game Ideas / Construction World

I'm afraid you guys might be in the minority of the main gaming public. With some killing based Online games failing, I doubt you'd see someone willing to provide the large amounts of money it takes to start one of these things unless some guarentee was made of its success. I might be wrong though, thats just my opinion.

New Game Ideas / Plug-in for Train sim?
December 13, 2001, 04:20:28 AM
I don't think I personally would enjoy it, but I think microsoft train simulator is possibly the dumbest concept for a game ever, but many others seem to like it. I'm sure some people would enjoy your idea, too. http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

New Game Ideas / Maybe a vehicle designer game?
October 19, 2001, 03:48:11 AM
Got it! It was called Car Designer and was made by Optimum Resource inc. The Underdogs.org has it http://www.theunderdogs.org/game.php?name=Car+Builder" target='_blank'>http://www.theunderdogs.org/game.php?name=Car+Builder It was a lot of fun, think of how great this concept could be if updated! The more I think about it, the more excited I get.

New Game Ideas / Maybe a vehicle designer game?

There was a game like this that I played in a unit in my school, I have no idea what it was called. Very dull graphics and simple DOS interface, you would design your body shape and then add things like bumpers, headlights, engine. Then you would race it around a track and handling statistics would come back. It was actually pretty fun. That wouldn't be to far off from the concept of pontifex either, you could almost use the same engine!
