Did you place a "break joint" at the point on the bridge that you want to separate? Also make sure you have a hydraulic attached to the break joint or it will not separate.

Hi,  I was having exact same problem as above.  I was watching the clock running after clicking the simulation and didn't realize I had to click the play.  I redid the tutorials just to check - it does have us click play - but I totally missed it when moving to the actual scenarios.

I've been trying to get more people to play lately, and it helps when the server is up.   

There is a bug that causes the server to lock up once in a while, I have reset it and it should be working now.

I know the forums, and the community in general are kind of dead, but there are still those of us who do play, and I was hoping someone else might be able to confirm that the server is down?  I've tried playing from two different computers on my network, and I get stuck at the connecting to server notification after entering my password.  I hope I get to play Zatikon again.  It's one of the neatest games, and I just bought the content packs for a lower level account to enjoy single player again!

I was wondering... Why haven't any user-submitted levels been released for download?

Edit: Ok, so it did work, but i had to edit the script file slightly, and made the following change(s)

#!/bin/bash/
cd /home/doodgie/gish/
./gish_64

The original script looked like this

#!/bin/bash/
cd /home/doodgie/gish/
./gish

If one doesn't work for you, try the other, and you should have a working script file, or link file

Type it quickly and it will take you to the simulate screen. Return to the edit screen and the cheat will be enabled.

I got this game on steam, and pressing "T" while in edit mode, takes me to simulate mode. I'm not quite sure how I can enter these cheats
Help please?

This bridgeitoptions.txt file is created the first time Bridge It is run so if you are having trouble running the game this file may not exist.  Here is a version you can download:

Unzip and place in your "Documents/bridgeit" folder. If the bridgeit folder does not exist you will need to create it. Make sure to unzip the file.
