Better compatibility with video cards

What you guys at Chronic Logic could do is try and improve the video card compatibility of Pontifex.  Maybe you could write a set of program codes and integrate it with the next version of Pontifex.  What this program code would do is recognize which card the user has in his/her computer, and shift graphics mode to better accomodate the particulars of that video card (i.e. ATI Radeon, and so forth).  It wouldn't be so different from how some developers write code specifically for several video card manufacturers and end up putting a sticker on their game boxes that say, "Made for: Nvidia, ATI, Matrox, 3Dfx, etc."
