maybe a richtor scale for the earthquake thing so you could quantitatively say how earthquake resistant a structure is...  like, enter a number, press the button, and presto, an earthquake of specified magnatude and specific duration.  that'd be cool.

I wanna natural disasters and non natural disasters in the game (fload, maraton runners,  tornados, "mech walkers"), the design of curve high-ways and the implementation of drawbridge.

xukula

This is good, but for Xtra, the program need to have the type of earthquake.

And Xtra: terrorist bomb-car blow simulation  >=)

What about snow load? Let it snow and we get a measurable, increasing snow load...
(3m high wet snow at almost a ton per square meter is nothing that can be ignored :)

I posted a drawbridge here at http://www.chroniclogic.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=3&topic=23" target="_blank">Bridge Replicas and http://www.chroniclogic.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=3&topic=50" target="_blank">Intentional Collapse; the latter thread contains more technical discussions, the former more interesting structures, though the drawbridge is the same in both :-)

Snow? oh yeah, I think in a ice cream =), but this idea is excelent!
