I know that there exists an OpenGL wrapper for the ATi line to be able to run the nVidia Fairy demo. Does such a wrapper exist for DirectX?
It was my plan when HL2 came out I would buy an ATi card, but now I'm not so sure. I could buy a GFFX card and don't care about the lesser quality, but then nVidia will get away with this PR stunt. I would really like to play this game, but I'm more hooked on the ATi 9800pro.
[EDIT]
That won't help anyway as it's the program itself that does the GF4/FX checking.
[/EDIT]
Yeah man, what kind of crap is this?! I download the demo hoping to play the sequel to Pontifex 2 and it says "Hardware is too good! Please downgrade to GeForce FX!"
Man that is stupid
Rabies, Bridge IT! is just a high quality version to demonstrate Nvidia's cards, and its not a sequel, it same lvls as PFX2/BCS, but better graphics..
broken download... unable to get it either
Bridge It has been updated to work on all modern video cards, ATI included.
