Would be cool to put up a link to a screen-shot of your records... but I trust everyone http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
Let the blocks fall!! I'm ready for you!!
*focuses sights on level 12*
*envisions himself passing 300,000 points*
*is curious how long it took yours to arrive in e-mail and what payment method you used*
*understands if it's confidential*
I didn't even like tetris :P But i can't stop playing the demo of Triptych™
And yes i did reach the level limit and am counting the seconds until I receive the e-mail with my registration code. I payed through pay-pal.. maybe that makes it take longer *shrug*
Anyway, you've created another classic game... my hat's off to you!!!!
ps. santa cruz rules, i used to live there http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
not really, but I'm glad to see some people have played carmageddon 2.
I've been playing Grand Theft Auto 3 for the PS2, it's got fairly good physics, broken windshields, pulling your open door clean off on a light-post. Nowhere near the Carmageddon 2 level of bending and twisting though.
The object of the game is to finish a race by either killing your opponents by hitting them with your car, killing every pedestrian on the map, or going through all the checkpoints (boring).
The crushing physics in the game is spectacular. Have you ever seen someone try to drive a car that's bent all up like a taco??? Well I have, and it's Hilarious!
I loved the first contest, and I advise that everyone read through the old contest posts to see what people thought of the rules.
It would be great to have an official records page. It's like a contest you can compete in over and over again.
I may be wrong about this, but I really want to get my hands on the contest winning bridges too. I wish that you guys could host the winning bridge files on your site so we can try to improve them. That might lead to arguments and intellectual property lawsuits though.
I'm really curious to know the nature of the new project that Chronic Logic will let us test. Can you tell us if it uses the same cool stress engine? Can you tell us anything about it?? (wink wink, nudge nudge)
Anyway, you guys rock, keep up the good work, and don't be confined by what you've done in the past. You've made your mark by taking a new direction in gaming, so taking another new direction couldn't be that bad. http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
I'm really glad that posting Prices for bridges was not allowed. I could not have possibly made my final bridge any cheaper, and if I had seen that someone else had, I wouldn't have even bothered to submit mine.
Now that I have submitted one though, I feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and I even think I might win still. :o
Anyway, everyone should play carmageddon 2 if they haven't already, the crushing physics are fantastic.
Just kidding, but seriously, I've really been worried because MY e-mail server sometimes quietly loses my mail. *gasp*
Better play some GTA 3 to calm my nerves. http://www.pontifex2.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
