Hmmm, favorite bridge

I much prefer arches...probably coz I've had more success with them. On a really tight, economical arch, almost every single strut is nearly at breaking point when you hit the max. You just don't see that with cables.

(Actually, what I usually see with cables is a big pile of girders in the river...)
