Drawbridge Problem

I have the problem where the bridge never finishes closing on medium level 6 of the release. I remember this was an issue before but I can't find anything now. Is there a way around this or do I just have to try a different design?

Same happened to me. Then I reinforced it a bit. The wasn't strong enough to keep it self in place.
