Sandbox Mode

Why is there no sandbox mode in this game?  How am I supposed to practice with the units when the level-200 AI just spews ridiculously overpowered units?  I don't care if I beat the AI or not. 

I just want the opportunity to experiment with the units.  That is the core of what makes this game interesting, but currently the game prohibits experimentation.  Do the designers of the game just not "get it"?

i think it's more the fact that sandbox havent been requested/though of, i must admit that it a pretty good idea though

actually, I have made a request long ago to something similiar.  Good to hear other people bringing it up again.  I just wish more people played so the game could be developed more on.  Unfortunately, there are bigger things to make better 1st.
