Voodoo/D3D?

Pontifex runs off of opengl, which would explain why the D3D looks lousy (How can it look at all? Unless your intel also has support for opengl). Wouldn't adding D3D support be pretty labor intensive?

I have 2 computers... one with a Voodoo 3 3000 and one with an onboard Intel chipset, which runs on Direct3D.

I noticed that it looks about 20 times better on the voodoo card... just curious if you (or I) can maybe improve graphics for D3D.
