The Swordsman excels at front line defense and crowd control. Once block has been unlocked he has the unique ability to completely block any incoming damage 25% of the time, making him extremely useful against any foe. He can also taunt and keep the enemy off your low hp units. |

The Cleric is the main healing force of your army. Though he cannot attack at all, he is one of the only ways of keeping your units alive when they are low on health. He can even bring dead units back to life when his resurrect spell is unlocked.

The Monk is a front-line offensive unit. He cannot soak up damage nearly as well as the Swordsman, but what he lacks in health he makes up in damage. You can use his self-only aggro control skill Feign Death to cause all attacking foes to lose interest in him.

The Cutthroat is a pirate. Therefore he is the coolest unit in the game. But he is also very helpful in battle. Being a high-damage close-range support class the Cutthroat can go into an insane rage and destroy everything in its path.

The Paladin is a medium-damage front line tank/damage hybrid. He can take a huge amount of damage with his large health pool as well as becoming invincible for 15 seconds. He can also kill any non-boss mob with one hit using his Holy Bolt spell as well as healping heal!

The Elementalist has by far the coolest threads out of any of the Heroes. He is a long-range damage unit, with a full array extremely powerful spells. He can summon a cute little pet to help him out. He is very weak and can easily pull aggro if not looked after.
