Wyrms
-Dracolich -Dragon -Feathered Serpent -Hydra -Wyvern -Wyvern Egg The wyrm class units are the highest cost units in the game. They cost 550 points for a reason, they change the game play to an extreme level; skills such as resurrection or conversion upon death are extremely powerful. All Wyrms cost 5 commands to summon and most have a maximum of 2 actions. As such, when a player decides to use a wyrm in their army, they generally choose units that either protect the said unit or particularly benefit from its abilities. Dracolich Cost: 550 The Dracolich's ability to resurrect enemy units on your side can be extremely devastating, but generally your opponent is aware of its skill, and therefore avoids feeding you units. The challenge then lies within using your remaining 450 points on units who have the ability to strike out and kill your opponents units and hence build up your army. The Dracolich also has a high amount of life, damage, actions, and armor, making it ideal as an offensive unit. Pair that with it ability to gain all damage inflicted as extra life and maximum life, and the Dracolich can be devastating on its own.
Dragon Cost: 550 The Dragon has the highest non obliterate power in the game. Its high health, max armor, fly ability and its 2 range explosive ability makes it dominate the section of the battlefield that you choose to send it to. Unless your opponent can lock it down with stuns, or instantly incapacitate it with a transform or instakill ability, they generally are going to have a very difficult time trying to deal with its raw destructive capability.
Feathered Serpent Cost: 550 The Feathered Serpent effectively gives all units an extra armor point, even if they already have the maximum value of 2. This means units with max armor and high hp are even more difficult to kill, and the Feathered Serpents damage reduction skill makes units who only have 3 power effectively worthless against these types of units. The heal all friendly units makes it necessary to have to kill one of your units in 1 fell swoop, otherwise it will just be healed and all effort damaging it will be wasted. The Feathered Serpent excels at not only making the units you have in play extremely different to kill, but when your opponent does manage to kill a unit, it returns to your castle if it is the first allied unit killed during the turn.
Hydra Cost: 550 The Hydra is one of the toughest units in the game, and theoretically has the highest life total of any unit. Each time the Hydra dies, it instead loses a head and returns to 6 life. With its 6 heads, that means that it can take at least 36 damage before dying. What makes it even tougher is its ability to regenerate a head each turn. Its weakness is that removing a head stuns the hydra, so if the Hydra becomes overwhelmed, it could be stunned indefinitely. What makes the Hydra a powerful offensive unit is that it can attack once for each head at no cost to its actions. The more heads the Hydra has, the more powerful it is.
Wyvern Cost: 550 The Wyverns impressive amount of life and its maximum armor value make it difficult to kill, and its devour attacked enemies is virtually an instakill ability. When the Wyvern devours a unit, it is fed, and when it is fed it can lay an egg. The egg hatches into another wyvern after 3 turns. The Wyvern is a bit difficult to use due to the opponent realizing the Wyvern cannot be allowed to lay an egg. As a result, your opponent will avoid feeding your Wyvern, and the challenge lies in getting in your opponent to sacrifice units to your Wyvern.
